Senior Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

About This Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans, procedures, and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) .
• Ensure all materials and project activities comply with approved specifications, standards, and contractual requirements .
• Review, evaluate, and approve civil material submittals , including concrete, asphalt, steel, aggregates, and other construction materials.
• Conduct material inspections, testing, and site surveillance to ensure quality compliance.
• Coordinate with laboratories for material testing and certification .
• Review and approve method statements and technical documentation related to civil works and materials.
• Perform internal audits and quality inspections to monitor and improve project quality performance.
• Identify non-conformances (NCRs) and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are effectively implemented.
• Monitor all inspection and testing activities throughout project phases.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA/QC documentation and records .
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and project teams on all quality-related matters.
• Lead, guide, and mentor QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
• Participate in project handover, testing & commissioning, and close-out documentation .

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry.
• Strong experience in civil materials inspection and testing .
• Proven experience in quality documentation, submittals, and reporting .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills .
• Strong communication and leadership abilities .
