Role Overview
Seeking a qualified and detail-oriented QC Engineer (Civil) for a construction team.
The role ensures construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the project's Quality Control plan.
- Conduct inspections of civil works for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor site activities and ensure work follows approved method statements and ITPs.
- Identify, document, and follow up on non-conformance reports and corrective actions.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and material approvals.
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a QC Engineer in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, method statements, and construction quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation.
