Own overall delivery, including programme, cost, quality, safety, resources, subcontractors, and coordination with the consultant, client, and authorities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise overall execution of civil construction projects.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and maintain project programmes, schedules, and progress reports; monitor progress and identify potential delays.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Review drawings, specifications, method statements, material submittals, and technical documents.
- Ensure construction complies with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
- Monitor project costs, resources, manpower, materials, and plant requirements; manage subcontractors against contractual requirements.
- Identify risks and mitigation measures; coordinate inspections, testing, approvals, and handover.
- Ensure HSE compliance with applicable UAE regulations.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports; manage RFIs, technical queries, variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.
- Attend meetings, follow up on actions, lead the project team, and maintain project records.
- Drive completion within approved time, cost, and quality requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant construction experience, preferably in the UAE.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager on civil or building construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, contracts, and project controls.
- Experience working with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Good knowledge of UAE construction standards, regulations, and authority requirements; UAE/GCC construction experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
