Plan, design, supervise, and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring work follows approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, designs, calculations, and technical documents.
- Supervise construction activities at project sites and verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project team members.
- Monitor project progress, quality, materials, and workmanship; conduct inspections and identify technical issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Review quantities, measurements, and material requirements.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance; resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Maintain project documentation and records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Three to five years of relevant civil construction or engineering experience; the posting also specifies three years as required experience.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid professional certification or license is an advantage.
