Job Purpose
The QA/QC Engineer – is responsible for maintaining quality standards across the yard and project sites, ensuring all equipment (cabins, generators, and related assets) meets required specifications, safety standards, and operational requirements.
The role supports inspections, documentation, and compliance to ensure consistent quality delivery across operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Support implementation of QA/QC procedures across yard and project sites
- Ensure all equipment and installations comply with specifications, standards, and company requirements
- Conduct routine inspections of cabins, generators, and associated equipment before dispatch and after return
- Monitor site installations to ensure quality and compliance with approved standards
- Identify defects, non-conformities, and quality issues; report and follow up on corrective actions
- Assist in maintaining quality records including inspection reports, test results, and checklists
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure timely resolution of quality issues
- Verify readiness and functionality of equipment prior to deployment
- Support quality audits and ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures
- Assist in maintaining documentation related to quality assurance and control
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality of incoming materials and equipment
- Promote adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards
Background & Experience (years)
- 2–3 years experience in QA/QC, preferably in rental, construction, or equipment-based operations
- Basic understanding of cabins, generators, or similar equipment preferred
- UAE experience is an advantage
- Competencies and Skills
- Basic understanding of quality standards and inspection processes
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to read drawings/specifications (basic level)
- Problem-solving and reporting skills
- Good communication and coordination ability
