About This Role
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design
- 8–15 years’ experience in building projects (preferably hotels, mansions, and the likes, with strong focus on finishes
- Proven experience in high-end commercial, residential, or mix-use buildings
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) for finishes works
- Establish Inspection plans for all finishes activities
Material Control
- Review Material Submittals, samples, and mock-ups.
- Verify materials delivered on site match approved submittals.
Workmanship & Execution
- Monitor quality of:
- Painting & coatings
- Tiling, marble, and stone works
- Gypsum board & ceilings
- Carpentry & joinery
- Flooring (vinyl, epoxy, parquet, carpet, etc.
- Conduct inspections and stage approvals.
- Verify compliance with approved shop drawings and method statements.
Inspection & Testing
- Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients
- Conduct internal inspections and issue IRs (Inspection Requests)
- Manage testing (adhesion tests, flatness, coating thickness, etc.)
- Identify quality issues
- Implement corrective and preventive actions
- Track closure of NCRs and quality observations
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain QA/QC records:
- Test reports and quality reports
- Checklists
• Coordination & Training
- Coordinate with construction and procurement teams
- Train site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors on quality standards
- Participate in mock-ups and sample approvals
