Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures against project specifications, approved drawings, standards, and contractual requirements.
• Check construction activities against quality plans, ITPs, Method Statements, and project specifications.
• Inspect construction works and review material submittals, technical documents, inspection requests, and test reports.
• Coordinate quality compliance with contractors, consultants, site engineers, and project teams.
• Monitor civil, architectural, structural, and finishing works for building and airport projects, including concrete, reinforcement, formwork, waterproofing, and masonry.
• Verify materials and workmanship against project specifications and international standards.
• Identify non-conformities, issue NCRs where required, and follow up corrective and preventive actions through closure.
• Maintain quality records and reports, participate in audits and quality meetings, and support project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements are followed during site inspections.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Relevant QA/QC Engineer experience on building, residential, commercial, or airport construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, construction materials, inspection processes, and testing requirements.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, Method Statements, ITPs, and material submittals.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and relevant construction standards.
• Experience identifying non-conformities and monitoring corrective actions.
• Strong coordination, communication, documentation, and reporting skills; ability to work with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
