Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day electrical installation works at the project site.
  • Inspect electrical works against approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and project requirements.
  • Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
  • Monitor installation of power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and other electrical systems.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and civil, structural, and MEP teams to resolve site-related technical issues.
  • Conduct site inspections, verify completed work quality, and monitor testing, commissioning, and handover.
  • Identify defective or non-compliant work and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Prepare daily site reports, inspection records, and progress updates.
  • Ensure compliance with quality procedures, health and safety requirements, and relevant UAE regulations.
  • Attend coordination meetings and support timely completion of project activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering and site supervision.
  • Experience on building and/or airport projects is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation, inspection, and testing procedures.
  • Experience reviewing electrical drawings, technical submittals, and contractor documentation.
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical standards, UAE regulations, and authority requirements.
