Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities of document control staff within the project or function.
  • Enforce filing, versioning, approvals, and record archiving best practices.
  • Coordinate client and authority document submissions within contractual timelines.
  • Develop and maintain document templates and procedural guides; resolve escalated issues across teams or sites.
  • Collaborate with quality and compliance teams to meet ISO and documentation standards.
  • Oversee integration of the DMS with project management tools or dashboards and monitor turnaround and compliance KPIs.
  • Onboard and train staff or subcontractors on documentation requirements; represent document control in project meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, technical diploma, or associate degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in document control.
  • Advanced proficiency in DMS tools such as Aconex, Proliance, or BIM 360, and in MS Excel.
