Future Scaffolding & Aluminium Industries seeks an experienced QS Engineer with a fabrication-industry background.
The role supports cost estimation, quantity take-offs, budgeting, and commercial work for fabrication and aluminum-related projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for fabrication projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare project budgets, cost plans, and material estimates.
- Monitor project costs and report variations.
- Handle subcontractor inquiries, evaluations, and comparisons.
- Assist with invoices, progress claims, and final accounts.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil, or a related field.
- Proven QS Engineer experience in fabrication, including aluminum, steel, scaffolding, or related works.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and costing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying tools.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication and shop drawings.
- Good analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in aluminum, facade, scaffolding, or steel fabrication projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with contracts, variations, and cost control procedures is preferred.
Workplace
- The role is based in person at Dubai Industrial City 3, Dubai, UAE.
