Accounts Manager

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and financial operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Handle cost accounting, product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing-related financial transactions.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, expenses, and cost-control procedures.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Use Odoo ERP for accounting entries, reporting, inventory integration, and financial transactions.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, stores, and management on costing and financial records.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and applicable accounting standards.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare financial documentation.
• Supervise the accounting team and improve processes and internal controls.

Mandatory requirements

• Eight to ten years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Proven manufacturing-industry experience and hands-on Odoo ERP experience are compulsory.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory management, and product costing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT, financial reporting, and accounting standards.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Previous UAE experience is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 8,000–10,000 per month.

• Work location is in person at Dubai Industrial City 4, Dubai, UAE.
