Future Scaffolding & Aluminium Industries is seeking an experienced Foreman - Press G to supervise daily aluminium extrusion press-line operations.
The role focuses on safe and efficient production, product quality, production targets, and supervision of extrusion press operators and helpers.
Employment and Workplace
- The role is full-time and performed in person.
- The department is Extrusion.
Production Supervision
- Supervise the Press G aluminium extrusion line and allocate tasks to extrusion operators and helpers.
- Monitor billet heating, extrusion parameters, die changes, profile production, and production schedules.
- Coordinate with QC, Die Shop, Maintenance, and Production Planning teams.
- Monitor machine performance, report breakdowns, and reduce downtime and material wastage.
Quality and Operations
- Ensure profiles meet approved specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain records covering output, wastage, downtime, and material consumption.
- Check extrusion quality and oversee handling, cutting, cooling, and stacking of profiles.
- Report production and operational issues to the Production Manager.
Safety and Team Guidance
- Follow health, safety, housekeeping, and PPE procedures.
- Train and guide operators and helpers on proper extrusion procedures and safe working practices.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in aluminium extrusion or extrusion press operations.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of aluminium extrusion processes and press operations.
- Experience with die changing, billet handling, extrusion parameters, and profile quality requirements.
- Previous Extrusion Foreman, Press Foreman, or Extrusion Supervisor experience is preferred.
- UAE or GCC aluminium extrusion industry experience is an advantage.
