QC Painting/Coating Inspector
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Painting / Coating QC Inspector to join our project team.
This role is critical in ensuring surface preparation and coating applications meet the highest quality and industry standards within Oil & Gas projects.

Your Role
As a
QC Painting/Coating Inspector,
- you will
- Perform inspection of surface preparation and coating applications in accordance with project specifications
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements and applicable international standards
- Monitor environmental conditions during coating activities
- Review and verify coating reports, inspection records, and calibration certificates
- Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively
- Coordinate with construction and QA/QC teams to maintain quality standards
Experience
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in Oil & Gas projects
- Experience with coating systems, inspection tools, and reporting procedures
Education / Certifications / Licenses
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must have BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2 Coating Inspector Certification (mandatory)
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, painting, and coating inspection standards (ISO, SSPC, NACE)
- Ability to interpret project specifications, ITPs, and engineering drawings
