Seeking an assertive, technical, process-driven QA/QC Manager with at least 10 years of experience in Qatar or the GCC region.
Quality systems and compliance
- Establish, manage, and audit project-specific Quality Management Systems in line with ISO 9001:2015.
- Prepare Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, and Method Statements before construction starts.
- Inspect materials delivered to site against approved submittals and design specifications.
Inspections and defect management
- Coordinate and conduct daily site inspections with consultants, clients, and independent laboratories.
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports for deficient work or materials, lead root cause analyses, and verify corrective and preventive actions.
- Audit subcontractors and supply chains, including concrete batching plants and steel fabrication yards.
Stakeholders and handover
- Represent the company on quality matters before Ashghal (PWA), Kahramaa, ministry representatives, and supervision consultants.
- Compile and secure quality close-out documentation, as-built packages, and handover dossiers for client sign-off.
Experience and project record
- At least 10 years of post-graduate construction QA/QC experience, including at least 5 years in Qatar.
- Proven delivery of major building and infrastructure projects in Qatar.
- Experience with Ashghal, PWA Design & Build, or Ministry projects is highly valued.
Education and credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university.
- UPDA/MMUP registration as an engineer in Qatar is mandatory; Grade A or B is preferred.
- ISO 9001:2015 Certified Lead Auditor designation is required.
Competencies
- Assertive, solution-oriented leadership to stop non-compliant work or reject defective materials.
- Flawless technical English and strong technical writing for engineering reports and client correspondence.
Pay
- Pay is up to QAR 10,000 per month.
