Manage quality standards across engineering and construction or manufacturing work.
Ensure materials, processes, and finished outputs meet engineering specifications, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and implement Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, and standard operating procedures.
- Inspect sites or factories, witness material testing, and audit workmanship against approved drawings and specifications.
- Review material submittals, vendor certifications, and mill test reports for compliance.
- Track non-conformances, issue corrective and preventive actions, and verify implementation.
- Audit subcontractors and suppliers; maintain inspection reports, test logs, and handover dossiers.
- Brief construction or production teams on quality benchmarks and defect prevention.
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 7–10 years of QA/QC Engineer experience in construction, infrastructure, oil and gas, or manufacturing.
- ISO 9001 Internal/Lead Auditor or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is highly preferred.
- Welding (AWS/CSWIP) or NDT certifications are a major plus for mechanical roles.
- Familiarity with technical blueprints, material specifications, and standards such as ASTM, ASME, ACI, and British Standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills; excellent report writing and assertive communication.
Pay
- AED 8,000–10,000 per month.
