QA/QC COORDINATOR & INSPECTOR – OIL & GAS

About the role

QA/QC and inspection

• Coordinate quality teams and conduct inspections against drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, and client requirements.
• Manage inspection plans and records, NCRs, CAPA, quality reports, testing, acceptance, and close-out activities.
• Support QMS implementation, ISO audits, accreditation, compliance, and continuous improvement.

TPI and technical coordination

• Coordinate TPI activity, inspector mobilization, scheduling, resource allocation, and deployment.
• Support technical work involving ASNT Level III, PAUT, AUT, PQR, WQT/WPQ, NDT, welding inspection, and traceability.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and internal technical teams.

Technical recruitment and business support

• Support technical recruitment, CV review, shortlisting, interviews, competency assessment, onboarding, and manpower planning.
• Contribute technical input to proposals, tenders, prequalification submissions, client presentations, and vendor registrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline and strong professional experience in QA/QC, inspection, TPI, or related sectors.
• Proven experience in QA/QC coordination and hands-on inspection; knowledge of ITP, PQP, NCR, CAPA, QMS, audits, and quality documentation.
• Understanding of ISO 9001:2015, vendor/TPI processes, NDT, welding inspection, PQR, WQT/WPQ, PAUT, AUT, and traceability.
• Experience in technical recruitment, interviewing, and competency assessment; strong coordination with project stakeholders.
• Valid UAE driving license and ability and willingness to travel to project sites in the UAE and internationally when required.
• Familiarity with DNV and ABS requirements is preferred; relevant technical certifications are listed without clear mandatory status.

Methods and tools

• Quality methods include Six Sigma, DMAIC, SPC, FMEA, Pareto Analysis, root-cause analysis, and Ishikawa/Fishbone analysis.
• Microsoft Office proficiency is listed; ERP/CRM/SRM or inspection/recruitment systems are an advantage.
