Role Overview
The Project Engineer supports surveying and engineering projects across the UAE.
The role covers cost estimation, budgeting, technical coordination, client interface, and modern survey technologies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates, budgets, and technical and commercial proposals; liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors on pre-qualification, tendering, and project development.
- Lead site assessments and supervise survey equipment deployment and operation, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
- Develop client relationships, support client acquisition, and represent the company in meetings and presentations.
- Coordinate with technical teams; support spatial analysis, planning, and resource estimation for survey projects.
- Monitor timelines, budgets, and quality of deliverables and stay current with survey methods and tools.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
- 6–7 years of project engineering experience, preferably in surveying or geospatial work.
- Experience in cost estimation and budgeting, surveying equipment, pre-qualification, and client and consultant dealings.
- Proven client acquisition and business development ability.
Technical Skills and Other Requirements
- Hands-on knowledge of 3D laser scanning, LiDAR, GPR, spatial analysis, and topographic surveys.
- Strong communication in English, negotiation, and project coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related standard industrial tools or software.
- Valid UAE driver’s license is mandatory.
