Harmony Medical Group seeks an experienced, organized Purchasing Supervisor in Abu Dhabi.
The role oversees purchasing, supplier coordination, inventory needs, and procurement to ensure timely, cost-effective availability of supplies and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily purchasing and procurement activities.
- Source and evaluate suppliers on quality, price, availability, and reliability; compare quotations and negotiate pricing and payment terms.
- Process purchase orders and maintain documentation; manage supplier relationships and develop supplier networks.
- Coordinate purchasing requirements with departments and branches and replenish essential inventory.
- Coordinate with Finance on invoices, payments, and discrepancies.
- Prepare purchasing reports and update management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of purchasing or procurement experience; dental experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control.
- Experience negotiating prices and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of UAE suppliers and local procurement practices is preferred.
