Purchasing Coordinator

A premium café chain operating across multiple locations, including over 10 outlets, two central kitchens, and two roasteries in two countries is looking for a **Purchasing Manager with IIKO knowledge (SYRVE)** in our team of enthusiasts to build the most recognizable brand in Dubai.

**Supplier management**: Identify, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships; negotiate contracts and terms.

**Cost control & negotiation:** Drive cost savings through supplier negotiations and market analysis, while ensuring accurate cost calculation and analysis of products (including recipe costing, portion control, and waste analysis)

**Food procurement control:** Oversee the procurement of all food and beverage items, ensuring quality, freshness and adherence to culinary standards.

**Stock management:** Implement robust stock control systems to monitor inventory levels, reduce spoilage and optimize storage across all cafe locations.

**Inventory optimization:** Forecast demand, manage inventory levels and minimize waste in collaboration with culinary and operations teams.

**Quality assurance:** Establish and enforce quality standards for all purchased goods, including supplier audits and compliance checks.

**Logistics:** Oversee efficient and timely delivery of products to all cafe locations. **Compliance:** Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations and food safety standards.

**Reporting:** Analyze purchasing data and report on supplier performance.

**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.

**Experience:** Minimum 3 years in purchasing/supply chain management with at least 2 years in the **food & beverage** or **hospitality sector**.

**Skills:** proven negotiation and vendor management expertise, strong analytical and problem solving abilities, proficiency in procurement software and advanced Excel, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of food safety regulations.
