Overview

A premium café chain with 2 outlets and one central kitchen in the UAE is looking for a Rocurement Manager with IIKO knowledge (SYRVE) in our team of enthusiasts to build the most recognizable brand in Dubai.

What You Will Do

Supplier management: Identify, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships; negotiate contracts and terms.

Cost control & negotiation: Drive cost savings through supplier negotiations and market analysis, while ensuring accurate cost calculation and analysis of products (including recipe costing, portion control, and waste analysis)

Food procurement control: Oversee the procurement of all food and beverage items, ensuring quality, freshness and adherence to culinary standards.

Stock management: Implement robust stock control systems to monitor inventory levels, reduce spoilage and optimize storage across all cafe locations.

Inventory optimization: Forecast demand, manage inventory levels and minimize waste in collaboration with culinary and operations teams.

Quality assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards for all purchased goods, including supplier audits and compliance checks.

Logistics: Oversee efficient and timely delivery of products to all cafe locations.

Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations and food safety standards.

Reporting: Analyze purchasing data and report on supplier performance.

Cost calculation and analysis: Accurately calculate the cost of food and beverage items including recipe costing, portion control and waste analysis.

About You

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 years in purchasing/supply chain management with at least 2 years in the food & beverage or hospitality sector.

Skills: proven negotiation and vendor management expertise, strong analytical and problem solving abilities, proficiency in procurement software and advanced Excel, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of food safety regulations.
