Job Purpose

Principal Accountabilities

• Search for goods and services that balance quality, price, and delivery terms.
• Carry out procure-to-pay activities within policies, department requirements, and approved budgets; process purchase orders against approved requisitions.
• Coordinate supplier and department logistics to ensure timely, accurate receipt of goods and services.
• Create Goods Receipt Notes and Service Entry Sheets upon delivery or service completion and follow up for department approval.
• Inspect purchased goods for quantity, quality, and condition; promptly report discrepancies, damage, or defects.
• Escalate procurement or logistics issues, delivery delays, and disputes to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate purchase, expenditure, GRN, SES, invoice, and supporting-document records, plus a current cash and credit purchasing database.
• Prepare and submit procurement reports as required.
• Maintain professional relationships with key vendors.
• Use the assigned vehicle for procurement-related logistics, ensuring the safety of passengers, goods, and road users.
• Keep vehicle registration, insurance, and driving licence valid and available; perform basic preventive maintenance and report vehicle issues.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable traffic rules.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Automotive experience.
• Valid Qatar driving licence.
• 3 to 5 years of experience.
