Manage procurement from vendor sourcing through purchase-order release.
Work with management and accounts to secure suitable quality, pricing, and payment terms.
Responsibilities
- Source vendor contacts, contact suppliers, share requirements, and communicate payment terms.
- Negotiate, obtain quotations, record vendor details and quotes, and compare options once five vendors are listed.
- Grade vendors on payment terms, delivery time, and reviews; coordinate site visits and support vendor selection.
- Prepare purchase orders for internal approval, release approved orders to vendors, and follow up on delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, or Supply Chain.
- 1–3 years of purchasing experience; UAE purchasing experience is preferred.
- Machinery or trading-goods experience is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and English communication skills; proficiency in MS Excel and email.
- Detail-oriented with good follow-up and quotation-comparison skills.
- Immediate joiners are preferred; the posting also states a valid UAE visa is required.
Compensation and benefits
- Pay is AED 1,800–2,500 per month; salary is discussed at interview in line with experience.
- Visa and employment benefits are stated to be provided as per UAE Labour Law.
