Overview
- Operate and control the Continuous Casting Machine (CCM) from the pulpit/control room to ensure safe and efficient production.
- Monitor casting parameters, machine performance, and process alarms through HMI/SCADA systems and take corrective actions when required.
- Coordinate with Mold Operators, Field Operators, and Shift Supervisors to maintain uninterrupted casting operations.
- Ensure billet quality by controlling casting speed, mold level, cooling parameters, and other critical process variables.
- Maintain production records, report operational abnormalities, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
