The opportunity

Role responsibilities

• Provide strategic and institutional leadership, aligning academic excellence, student success, operational effectiveness, and financial sustainability behind campus strategy.
• Lead the Academic Director and Director of Operations, establishing a cohesive senior leadership team with clear accountability.
• Develop Dubai as a strategic hub for transnational education and international engagement.
• Develop partnerships, educational models, research and enterprise opportunities, and international markets with colleagues across the University.
• Serve as the University's senior representative in Dubai and the UAE, building relationships with public authorities, industry, education partners, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure governance, regulatory compliance, and academic quality while strengthening regional reputation and long-term impact.

Candidate profile

• An established senior higher education leader with the judgment, institutional credibility, and experience to lead a complex international campus.
• A strong record of institutional leadership and improvement, strategy delivery, and leadership of complex academic and professional teams.
• Meaningful accountability for organizational performance and credibility across academic quality, student outcomes, growth, financial and resource management, and senior stakeholder engagement.
• International higher education or transnational education experience is particularly relevant.
• Understanding of the UAE and/or wider GCC higher education landscape is advantageous.
• Experience engaging with government, regulators, industry, and international partners is relevant.
