Your Role

Mechanical QC Manager

• , you will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical quality control activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
• Accordingly, you will
• Lead and manage the Mechanical QC team across site operations
• Develop and implement Project Quality Control Plans (PQCP) and inspection strategies
• Ensure compliance with EPC standards, client requirements, and international codes (ASME, API, ISO)
• Oversee inspections for static and rotating equipment, piping, structural steel, and pressure vessels
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams to resolve quality issues
• Review and approve ITPs, WPS/PQRs, method statements, and inspection reports
• Monitor subcontractor performance and enforce quality standards
• Manage NCRs, corrective actions, and root cause analysis
• Interface directly with client representatives and third-party inspectors
• Ensure readiness for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of experience in QC within EPC Oil & Gas projects
• At least 5 years in a managerial/lead QC role
• Proven experience in large-scale EPC projects (preferably offshore or mega projects)

Education / Certifications / Licenses

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Certifications such as CSWIP / BGAS / NDT Level II/III are a plus
• Must have Lead Auditor Certification Course

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO)
