We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Project QC Manager to lead quality control activities for major offshore EPC oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive technical expertise, strong leadership capability, and a proven record of managing QC teams on complex offshore projects.

YOUR ROLE

As a Project Site QC Manager you will:

• Lead and manage all mechanical QC activities for offshore EPC projects from fabrication through installation and commissioning
• Develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQP), ITPs, and QC procedures
• Oversee multi‑discipline mechanical activities including: Piping, static & rotating equipment; Structural fabrication and installation, Welding, NDT, pressure testing, and mechanical completion
• Ensure full compliance with project specifications, international codes, and client standards
• Act as the main QC focal point for clients, consultants, classification societies, and third‑party inspectors
• Manage and mentor QC engineers and inspectors; ensure manpower competence and coverage
• Review and approve method statements, WPS/PQRs, material certificates, test packs, and final dossiers
• Lead quality audits, NCR management, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions
• Ensure compliance with offshore safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Support project close‑out, handover, and final documentation

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience

• Minimum 18 years of experience in the oil & gas industry
• At least 5 years in a managerial QC role on EPC offshore projects
• Strong experience with offshore fabrication yards, platforms, jackets, topsides, and hook‑up activities

Education / Training / Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification
• Certificates in CSWIP, NDT, NCAE, BGAS would be an advatage

Skills/Competencies

• In‑depth knowledge of international standards and codes: ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, ISO, NACE, DNV
• Proven leadership, decision‑making, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong documentation control and reporting experience
