Acts as procurement expert and key contact during sales and project execution, helping ensure timely, complete delivery of products and services.
Works with engineering and project execution teams to minimize project risk and support successful delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support sales offers with competitive procurement conditions and challenge non-standard specifications to improve cost efficiency.
- Identify long-lead goods and services and develop strategies to address feasibility concerns.
- Execute procurement according to the Supply Plan and category strategies, ensuring products and services arrive on time and in full.
- Advise stakeholders on product and supplier options when specifications change; recommend alternatives or new suppliers when needed.
- Run RFx events for non-itemized products and services, including documentation, proposal evaluation, should-cost modelling, negotiations, and supplier selection.
- Update procurement information in the project Supply Plan as execution progresses.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of procurement, supply chain management, or project execution support experience in technical or engineering-focused organizations.
- Strong procurement process, RFx management, and supplier performance management knowledge.
- Strong analytical, supplier escalation, and mitigation skills.
- Demonstrated negotiation and cost-saving ability while balancing risk and operational needs.
- Able to work independently, communicate clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Able to travel internationally up to 5% of the time.

The Project Procurement team supports projects throughout the lifecycle and works to optimize Configure-to-Order and Engineer-to-Order solutions.
