Role overview

Role responsibilities

• Create, manage and monitor project plans and budgets, including GANTT charts and critical path analysis.
• Line-manage block, assistant and site managers and manage staff performance, coaching and training.
• Coordinate labour, materials, procurement, deliveries and resources between site teams.
• Maintain quality standards, project records, QCQA records and compliance with legislation and company policies.
• Ensure construction-phase health and safety plans, risk assessments, method statements and COSHH assessments are in place.
• Manage subcontractor orders, budgets and costs with commercial and quantity surveying teams.
• Maintain relationships with clients, residents, funders and stakeholders, and resolve residents’ issues.
• Attend regular site and management meetings and keep up to date with industry regulations and health and safety legislation.

Skills and qualifications

• HNC or equivalent qualification or experience in a construction-related discipline.
• CSCS card and Site Managers Safety Training Scheme qualification.
• Asbestos awareness, scaffold inspection and first aid certificates.
• EWI or cladding experience.
• Experience with GANTT charts, critical path analysis and financial information tracking.
• DBS check where required for specific projects.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and competent use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Outlook.

Work setting

• The role manages site-based staff and requires attendance at construction site and management meetings.
• Work is associated with cladding remediation and regeneration projects across London and the Southeast.
