Project Manager - Joinery & Wood Production

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange, manage, and supervise carpenters, joinery factory workers, site installation teams, and subcontractors for woodwork execution.
• Prepare material take-offs, wood consumption lists, and quantity estimations based on approved joinery drawings and BOQs.
• Supervise joinery production supervisors by assigning daily/weekly wood cutting, assembly, and finishing tasks and monitoring output.
• Ensure timely completion and handover of all joinery works — including wardrobes, doors, kitchens, panels, and custom woodwork — as per project schedules.
• Collaborate closely with the Design Team to clarify joinery shop drawings, wood detailing, and fabrication requirements.
• Provide regular updates on wood production progress, installation milestones, and site coordination to management and clients.
• Monitor wood quality, polishing, finishing, and installation accuracy on a daily basis.
• Resolve production and site issues, including wood material shortages, machining delays, and installation challenges.
• Coordinate with the Purchase Team to ensure timely procurement and delivery of wood, veneers, laminates, and hardware materials.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including production reports, wood cutting lists, site progress photos, and project tracking records.
• Ensure all joinery and woodwork projects are completed within strict deadlines without compromising quality standards.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of UAE experience in wood joinery, carpentry production, or interior woodwork projects.
• Proven experience in managing joinery factory production and installation teams.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking, carpentry methods, and joinery fabrication techniques.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Experience in wood material estimation, production planning, and execution control.
