Overview

  • Act as the Employer's Consultant's primary representative and key point of contact with the Employer, Design-Build Contractor, authorities and stakeholders.
  • Monitor the Design-Build Contractor's performance against contractual obligations, approved programme, quality requirements, health and safety standards, and project objectives.
  • Review and assess design submissions, technical deliverables, material approvals and authority approvals to verify compliance with project requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor construction progress and prepare regular project status reports, highlighting progress, risks, delays, key issues and recommended mitigation measures.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary reviews involving Architectural, Structural, MEP and specialist disciplines to support the Employer's decision-making process.
  • Monitor compliance with contract requirements, local authority regulations, approved designs and applicable codes and standards.
  • Review variation proposals, extension of time claims and other contractual submissions, providing independent assessments and recommendations to the Employer.
  • Review contractor payment applications and provide recommendations to the Employer based on verified progress and contractual entitlement.
  • Identify and escalate project risks, commercial concerns, quality issues and programme deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Attend progress meetings, technical workshops, inspections and stakeholder meetings, maintaining accurate records and action tracking.
  • Monitor testing, commissioning, handover and closeout activities to ensure compliance with project requirements and successful project completion.
  • Prepare executive reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing project performance, key risks, critical decisions and overall project status.
