The Role

• We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Developer-Side Project Manager to own the full lifecycle of our construction projects on behalf of Majid Developments. You will be our eyes, ears, and voice on every project — ensuring our contractor, consultant, and all third parties are aligned, accountable, and delivering to our standards.
• This is not a site-based contractor role. You represent the developer's interests at every stage — from pre-construction coordination through to handover and snagging — and you report directly to the CEO and COO.

What You Will Own

• Full oversight of active construction projects on behalf of Majid Developments, acting as the primary point of contact between the developer, contractor, and consultant
• Review and challenge contractor and consultant programmes, ensuring milestones are realistic, tracked, and met
• Attend all site meetings, technical meetings, and design coordination meetings and follow up relentlessly on actions
• Monitor construction progress against approved drawings, specifications, and quality benchmarks escalating deviations immediately
• Manage the procurement timeline for developer-supplied items FF&E, furnishings, wall panels, curtains, fit-out materials ensuring items are specified, ordered, and on site when needed
• Review and interrogate payment certificates, variation orders, and contractor claims before they reach the CEO for approval
• Track project budgets and flag cost risks early before they become problems
• Coordinate between the main contractor, shoring contractor, MEP subcontractors, fit-out teams, and any specialist consultants
• Maintain a live project dashboard programme, budget, open issues, risks updated weekly and presented to the leadership team
• Lead snagging and handover coordination, ensuring units meet Majid Developments' delivery standard before keys are released to buyers
• Liaise with the master developer, DLD, and relevant authorities on approvals, NOCs, and compliance requirements as needed

What We Are Looking For

• 6 to 12 years of experience in construction project management, with a minimum of 3 years on the developer or client side in the UAE
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
• Strong understanding of UAE construction contracts (FIDIC preferred), consultant agreements, and developer-contractor dynamics
• Proven ability to read and interrogate drawings, specifications, programmes (Primavera P6 or MS Project), and payment applications
• Experience managing mid-rise residential or mixed-use projects in Dubai from pre-construction through to handover
• Excellent coordination and communication skills you will be managing relationships with contractors, consultants, authorities, and the Majid leadership team simultaneously
• Detail-oriented but commercially aware you understand that quality, cost, and programme are all your problem
• Fluent in English; Arabic or Urdu is an advantage
