Coordinate design delivery across multiple projects from concept design through detailed design and construction documentation.
Support the Senior Director – Design in project progress and resolution of issues that may affect programme or quality.
Design coordination and delivery
- Track design deliverables, milestones, and approvals against project programmes and development objectives.
- Coordinate architects, interior designers, landscape consultants, engineers, and specialist consultants; maintain communication and information flow.
- Follow up with consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, coordinated deliverables aligned with project requirements.
- Coordinate design workshops, progress meetings, and technical review sessions; build working relationships across internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Review drawings and submissions for completeness, consistency, and coordination before formal approval.
Project, site, and authority coordination
- Identify design clashes, technical issues, risks, delays, and bottlenecks and support timely resolution.
- Prepare project status reports and management presentations; ensure deliverables comply with project briefs, design standards, and quality expectations.
- Coordinate responses to RFIs, material submissions, shop drawings, and technical clarifications.
- Support site teams in resolving design issues while protecting approved design intent; participate in site inspections and project coordination meetings when required.
- Coordinate authority submissions and approvals, ensure applicable codes and regulations are incorporated, and follow up on outstanding authority comments.
Experience and qualifications
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture or Design Management is required.
- Requires 8–10 years of design-management experience, preferably with luxury real estate developments in the UAE.
- A proven track record managing design for high-rise, residential, or mixed-use projects is required.
- Strong understanding of local authority processes and permitting requirements is required.
- PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills are required.
