Hiring: Project Manager – Corporate Lending \| Dubai, UAE
Dubai, UAE
A leading global banking institution is looking to expand its operational footprint for its Corporate Lending product and is seeking a Dubai-based Program Management resource to drive the launch and implementation of the Corporate Lending product in an additional Legal Entity in the GCC region.
The candidate must have 5–8 years of Project Management experience to assist in completing the tasks below leading to implementation over the next 24 months (until go-live).
Job Responsibilities
- Define Project Scope: Establish project objectives, deliverables (license, operations, tech), timelines, and milestones.
- Identify Stakeholders: Map out all internal and external parties, including regulators, legal, leadership, and technology partners.
- Manage Risks: Proactively identify regulatory, operational, and technical risks, developing mitigation and contingency plans and managing assumptions/dependencies.
- Assess Regulations: Lead the review of all relevant country laws as applicable to lending.
- Prepare Application: Guide the preparation and submission of the regulatory approval docs, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Liaise with Regulators: Assist the primary Banking contact with regulatory authorities and facilitating inquiries.
- Coordinate Teams: Ensure synergy among legal, finance, IT, operations, and Compliance.
- Report Progress: Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on status, risks, and budget.
- Co-ordination: Manage relationships with technology partners for lending system implementation (loan origination, servicing, CRM, reporting).
- Technology Integration: Work with business units to ensure technology meets needs and integrates with existing platforms.
- Ensure Data Security: Collaborate with IT/security to implement robust data privacy and protection measures.
- Achieve Operational Readiness: Ensure technology supports efficient and compliant lending.
- GCC region/Saudi experience preferred.
