Project Manager - Building Construction

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete project lifecycle from planning and execution through handover.
• Lead high-rise construction projects and ensure timely completion within approved budgets.
• Coordinate consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Monitor progress, schedules, resource allocation, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate authority inspections, approvals, and compliance, including with Dubai Municipality.
• Review construction drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Identify risks, resolve site issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular site meetings and report progress to senior management.
• Oversee completion, testing, commissioning, and handover.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 10 years of UAE building-construction experience is mandatory.
• Proven experience in high-rise building construction projects in Dubai is mandatory.
• Valid Dubai Municipality approval as a Project Manager is preferable.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, and local authority procedures.
• Strong project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cost-control skills.
• Leadership, team management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6 and other relevant project management tools.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Candidates with a track record of delivering high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects in Dubai are preferred.
