Electrical Engineer role for building construction projects.
Experience and education
- At least 5 years of experience in building construction projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
- Knowledge of applicable local electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, IS, or BS).
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred and may depend on the project.
Technical duties
- Prepare BOQs, material submittals, and technical datasheets.
- Review shop drawings.
- Prepare method statements and inspection test plans (ITPs).
Safety and approvals
- Implement electrical safety standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Identify hazards and conduct risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with local authority approvals and obtain inspection approvals from utility departments.

- Work is in person.
