Role summary
Leads plant upgrades, expansions, maintenance shutdowns, and process-improvement projects.
Project delivery and compliance
- Plans project scope, timelines, resources, and cost controls; monitors progress and reports forecasts and status.
- Coordinates with government authorities on permits, reports, inspections, facility audits, waste-stream approvals, and regulatory submissions.
- Coordinates operations, maintenance, procurement, HSE, vendors, and contractors.
- Ensures compliance with safety protocols, waste regulations, ISO 14001, and local EAD guidelines.
- Manages project risks, delays, cost overruns, and technical challenges.
- Oversees project procurement and logistics, documentation, compliance records, and contract administration.
- Leads review meetings and provides training and technical support on project tools, documentation, and Tadweer updates.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of project-management experience; waste management, incineration plants, or environmental projects are preferred.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary projects across engineering, construction, operations, and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, per government-authority contractual requirements.
- Strong project planning, execution, and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE waste-management regulations, especially hazardous and medical waste.
- Experience with regulatory communication, permit applications, and compliance submissions.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver under tight deadlines.
Compensation
- Full-time role paying AED 12,000–18,000 per month.
