Oracle NetSuite Finance Techno-Functional Specialist

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain NetSuite finance modules and workflows, including approval flows and process automation.
• Support AP, AR, general ledger, chart of accounts, intercompany transactions, bank reconciliations, petty cash, prepayments, amortization, and fixed assets.
• Provide basic procurement and procure-to-pay system support; support HR, payroll, attendance, and leave processes.
• Build and maintain reports, saved searches, dashboards, user roles, and permissions; manage data imports and validate accuracy.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and audit requests.
• Coordinate system testing, data validation, change deployment, and user training with the implementation partner.
• Maintain user documentation, process maps, and training materials.

Required Experience and Skills

• Experience supporting or implementing Oracle NetSuite, especially financial management functionality.
• Have 2–3 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite configuration, workflows, reporting, user roles, and data uploads.
• Understand AP, AR, GL, intercompany accounting, petty cash, prepayments, amortization, and fixed assets.
• Have basic familiarity with procurement and procure-to-pay processes.
• Experience gathering requirements, troubleshooting, testing changes, and supporting end users.
• Support chart-of-accounts maintenance and configuration, including account creation and updates.

Preferred Qualifications

• NetSuite certification or relevant implementation and support experience is preferred.
• IFRS 17 understanding or exposure to its implementation or support is an advantage.
• Experience with SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteScript, or SuiteTalk is preferred, depending on the environment.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, or intercompany NetSuite environments is preferred.
• A degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
