Role overview

Project delivery and governance

• Lead end-to-end delivery against contract requirements, approved scope, schedule, and budget.
• Establish project execution plans, schedules, and controls aligned with TAQA/TRANSCO frameworks.
• Deliver milestones, outputs, and handover requirements on time.
• Manage scope control, changes, and variations with commercial teams.

Authority and stakeholder management

• Serve as primary contact for TAQA, TRANSCO, consultants, and client representatives.
• Manage authority interfaces and compliance with relevant procedures, standards, and governance requirements.
• Coordinate authority submissions, approvals, permits, site access, and compliance obligations.
• Maintain professional relationships with authority engineers, inspectors, and consultants.

Planning, commercial, and team coordination

• Develop and control detailed schedules and resource plans; identify risks and implement mitigation or recovery plans.
• Manage budgets, cost control, cash flow, invoicing, payment milestones, and variations.
• Monitor financial performance and profitability; support commercial negotiations and claims.
• Coordinate engineering, construction, HSE, procurement, planning, and subcontractors; lead meetings and progress reviews.

Compliance and reporting

• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, TAQA/TRANSCO requirements, and client standards; coordinate safe work with HSE teams.
• Maintain quality records and documentation to contractual and authority requirements.
• Report project status, risks, constraints, commercial impacts, and mitigation actions to senior management.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of utility or infrastructure project experience in Abu Dhabi.
• Experience with TAQA/TRANSCO governance or similar authority environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
