Project Executive – BAS/BMS - Hyperscale Data Center projects

Role Overview

Location and Travel

• The position can be based anywhere in the United States.
• The role requires openness to traveling up to 50 percent.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple BAS, EPMS, SCADA, and controls projects through their full lifecycle.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, billing accuracy, and cash flow.
• Drive schedule, safety, quality, procurement, and client satisfaction outcomes.
• Serve as the escalation point for clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Lead executive-level meetings, contract discussions, and change order negotiations.
• Mentor project managers, engineers, and field leadership teams.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, estimating, supply chain, and field teams.
• Review submittals, RFIs, commissioning plans, and project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, safety standards, and company expectations.
• Support strategic growth, operational improvements, and future project pursuits.

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in building automation, controls, mission-critical construction, or MEP project environments.
• Previous leadership of large or complex projects in a senior project management or executive-level role.
• Strong understanding of BAS/BMS, EPMS, SCADA, and integrated control systems.
• Experience managing contracts, subcontractors, project financials, and change order workflows.
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and build client relationships.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore and Microsoft Project.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mission-critical or data center experience is highly preferred.
• Hyperscale or colocation data center experience is preferred.
• Experience with advanced cooling systems, power monitoring, or AI-driven infrastructure technologies is preferred.
• PMP certification, a PE license, or an engineering background is a plus.

Compensation

• The stated salary range is $200,000 to $225,000 per year.
