Responsible for day-to-day execution, coordination, and technical delivery of project activities within an assigned zone.
Ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Take responsibility for zone project activities and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants, clients, and other disciplines.
- Monitor progress against schedules and milestones; ensure work follows drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality requirements.
- Review drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and technical requirements; coordinate resolution of site issues with design and engineering teams.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance; conduct inspections and ensure quality and HSE compliance.
- Identify and escalate delays, risks, and site constraints; prepare progress reports and maintain project records.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and handover; complete as-built drawings and project documentation; support the Project Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- 5–6 years of relevant project or site engineering experience; UAE experience preferred.
- Experience managing site activities and multiple subcontractors.
- Knowledge of project execution, drawings, BOQ, schedules, QA/QC procedures, UAE construction practices, and HSE requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge preferred.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
