Hands-on Project Engineer supporting the Project Manager across multiple active interior fit-out projects.
Acts as a link between site and management, supporting daily operations, material tracking, and technical execution against drawings.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in supervising daily site activities, subcontractors, and labor across active projects.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and BOQs; ensure work follows approved architectural and MEP drawings.
- Track material deliveries with procurement and suppliers, inspect deliveries on site, and manage inventory.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, track milestones, and update project schedules.
- Coordinate site inspections and sign-offs with consultants, main contractors, and clients.
- Maintain site instructions, variation logs, RFI logs, and safety records.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture, or an engineering background.
- 3–6 years of total experience, with 2–3 years specifically in UAE/GCC interior fit-out; fit-out/interior experience of 3 years is stated as required.
- Strong command of AutoCAD and MS Office, including Excel and Word; basic MS Project knowledge.
- Organized, energetic, able to multitask across fast-paced sites, and has good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid UAE/GCC driving license is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay stated as AED 6,000–8,000 per month.
Workplace
- In-person role in Dubai; Dubai location is stated as required.
