Project Engineer/Coordinator

Role overview

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or mechanical engineering.
• Two to three years of relevant construction, civil, mechanical, or MEP project experience.
• Experience in project coordination, site supervision, and project execution.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Experience with material and technical submittals, inspections, and approvals.
• Monitor progress, schedules, and requirements; resolve site and technical issues with the project team.
• Maintain project records and ensure work follows approved drawings, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD and other engineering or project-management software are advantageous.
• Good communication, coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day work among site teams, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor progress and ensure activities are completed to schedule.
• Coordinate material submissions, inspections, approvals, and technical documentation.
• Review drawings and coordinate with relevant engineering disciplines.
• Assist the Project Manager with planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
• Follow up on site requirements and help resolve technical and coordination issues promptly.
• Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, and other project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project specifications.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 2,000–4,000 per month.

• Work location is in person in Sharjah.
