Job Overview / Job Description
The Document Controller is responsible for managing, controlling, and maintaining all project documentation in accordance with PMO standards, project procedures, and company policies. The role ensures that all documents are accurately recorded and properly distributed.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, manage, and maintain the project Document Control System in line with PMO requirements.
- Control all incoming and outgoing PMO documents
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date document registers.
- Ensure proper document numbering, revision control, approval status, and distribution.
- Distribute documents to relevant project teams, consultants, and contractors as per defined procedures.
- Track document submission status, approvals, and resubmissions.
- Support PMO, QA/QC, and project teams with document‑related reporting and audits.
- Assist in compilation, verification, and archiving of handover and close‑out documentation, including as‑built drawings and O&M manuals.
- Always maintain confidentiality and integrity of project documentation.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
Experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Document Controller in construction or real estate projects
- Site‑based experience within the UAE is required
- Familiarity with electronic document management systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, or similar)
Pay: From AED1.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
