Preferred Qualifications
- Experience dealing with regulatory authorities within the UAE real estate sector.
- Knowledge of risk management, corporate governance, AML, KYC and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Professional certifications in compliance, governance, or risk management will be an advantage.
- Minimum ***5 years of relevant compliance experience****,* preferably within the real estate, property development, or related sectors.
- *Must hold a valid* ***Certified Compliance Officer certification issued/recognized by ADREC and ADGM***
- Salary: Will be discussed during the Interview.
Job Summary
Burtville Development is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to ensure the company's operations comply with all applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance within the real estate sector and supporting the company's commitment to ethical business practices and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable UAE laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
- Conduct regular compliance reviews, risk assessments, and internal audits.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of required reports and documentation.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and advise management on their impact.
- Investigate compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation.
- Support management in promoting a culture of compliance and ethical conduct throughout the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and compliance reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
