Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience dealing with regulatory authorities within the UAE real estate sector.
  • Knowledge of risk management, corporate governance, AML, KYC and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Professional certifications in compliance, governance, or risk management will be an advantage.
  • Minimum ***5 years of relevant compliance experience****,* preferably within the real estate, property development, or related sectors.
  • *Must hold a valid* ***Certified Compliance Officer certification issued/recognized by ADREC and ADGM***

Job Summary

Burtville Development is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to ensure the company's operations comply with all applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance within the real estate sector and supporting the company's commitment to ethical business practices and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable UAE laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Conduct regular compliance reviews, risk assessments, and internal audits.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of required reports and documentation.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and advise management on their impact.
  • Investigate compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation.
  • Support management in promoting a culture of compliance and ethical conduct throughout the organization.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and compliance reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
