Senior Project Controls / Planning Manager – Abu Dhabi
Salary
AED 40,000 – 48,000 + schooling + bonus + full package
We are seeking a Senior Project Controls / Planning Manager to join a leading organisation in Abu Dhabi, supporting the delivery of major capital projects.
Role Overview
Responsible for leading project controls functions across large-scale developments, including planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting.
The role requires close coordination with design, procurement, and delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered in line with approved timelines and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (Primavera P6 / MS Project)
- Track progress against baseline programmes and report on deviations
- Monitor project KPIs and prepare dashboards and performance reports
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project timelines
- Oversee project controls documentation, reporting, and risk tracking
- Support resource planning and utilisation
- Contribute to process improvement within project controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 12 years’ experience, with GCC experience preferred
- Strong background in project controls for major capital projects
- Experience working for a developer or consultancy supporting a developer client
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi authority approvals preferred
- Strong pre-contract experience across design and procurement phases
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar
