Support the planning, coordination, execution, and completion of engineering projects.
Work with engineering, operations, procurement, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to meet technical, quality, cost, schedule, and safety requirements.
Project duties
- Review project requirements and prepare technical documentation.
- Coordinate engineering activities, resources, and materials; review drawings and specifications.
- Monitor schedules, progress, and deliverables, identify technical issues, and support timely resolution.
- Coordinate stakeholders and support testing, commissioning, and compliance with engineering standards and procedures.
- Senior-level duties may include technical guidance, engineering work review, project planning and risk management support, and process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
- Understand engineering principles, project planning, technical documentation, and project execution.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, technical reports, and project documentation.
- Familiarity with scheduling, resource planning, procurement coordination, cost monitoring, risk management, quality standards, safety requirements, and engineering practices.
- Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Primavera, or similar tools are advantageous.
- Strong analytical, technical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, coordination, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Senior responsibilities call for technical coordination, leadership, decision-making, and mentoring capabilities.
- Identify project risks, evaluate technical solutions, and support corrective actions; focus on quality, safety, efficiency, delivery, and improvement.
