The Director provides strategic leadership for construction projects and business operations, aligning project portfolios with company goals and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee project planning and execution; manage budgets and timelines.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, and site-management teams.
- Develop and implement operational policies; monitor performance indicators.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality, safety, and sustainability.
- Build client and partner relationships, negotiate at a senior level, and represent the company externally.
- Support talent development and succession planning.
Qualifications
- Leadership and people-management experience, including leading cross-functional teams and coaching managers.
- Strategic planning and business management abilities, including portfolio management, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
- Construction or real estate development operations experience and knowledge of project lifecycle, contracting, procurement, and site management.
- Client relationship, negotiation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate degree or MBA is advantageous.
- Fast-growing organization experience; Egyptian or regional construction-market experience is preferred.
