Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven
Production Manager
with strong experience in interior fit-out and joinery manufacturing.
The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end production processes, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess project requirements, conduct site measurements, and plan resource allocation
- Prepare project cost estimates and issue job orders for production
- Manage procurement of raw materials and ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce production costs and enhance efficiency
- Ensure all production outputs meet required quality standards and specifications
- Plan and organize workflow in line with project timelines and delivery schedules
- Supervise production teams including foremen, laborers, and drivers, and evaluate performance
- Schedule and oversee maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records of tools and raw materials in the warehouse
- Manage production planning, scheduling, and coordination across multiple projects
- Develop and implement production policies and procedures in line with management objectives
- Ensure total quality management of processes and finished products
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide effective solutions
- Enforce housekeeping and safety standards to maintain a clean and efficient work environment
- Monitor stock levels in coordination with accounts and administration teams
- Implement waste reduction initiatives and promote a zero-waste culture
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- Minimum
- 4–6 years’ experience
- in a similar role within the
- interior fit-out / joinery industry
- Strong knowledge of production planning, cost control, and materials management
- Experience in supervising workshop and site production teams
- Solid understanding of quality standards and fit-out processes
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office; ERP experience is an advantage
- UAE driving license preferred
