Overview

We are looking for a Production Engineer to coordinate daily production operations across multiple departments to ensure smooth workflow, accurate ERP data management, effective communication between sections, and on-time execution of production schedules.

The role acts as a central coordination point between production, procurement, warehouse, quality, engineering, and planning teams to maintain operational alignment and visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily production activities and monitor workflow between departments to ensure smooth handoffs and schedule adherence.
  • Manage and update daily production boards, WIP tracking, and production status reporting.
  • Perform ERP system data entry and maintain accurate production, inventory, and material transaction records.
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, quality, and engineering teams to resolve material shortages, documentation issues, and production blockers.
  • Communicate schedule updates, priority changes, and resource availability across all related departments.
  • Track production progress against plans and escalate delays, risks, or operational issues to department leads and management.
  • Manage bookings and coordination for shared equipment, tools, testing stations, and production resources.
  • Support production planning activities by collecting and organizing operational data and status updates.
  • Maintain production documentation, work orders, logs, and operational records in accordance with company procedures.
  • Follow up on pending actions between departments to ensure timely completion and closure.
  • Assist in identifying process inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Generate daily and weekly operational reports related to WIP, production status, shortages, and schedule performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in production coordination, operations, manufacturing administration, or ERP-related roles.
  • Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
