Role Overview

The Product Support Department is a specialized overhauling and repair shop for final drives, transmissions, and related mechanical assemblies.

The role manages shift resources, quality control, international standards, and shop-floor workmen to achieve production targets safely.

Location and Work Arrangement

  • The role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, in the Whitefield area.
  • Work location is in person.

Compensation

  • Salary is up to ₹3.45 lakh per annum based on experience.
  • Freshers receive fixed CTC of up to ₹3.45 lakh for the first year.
  • Health insurance and Provident Fund are provided.

Fresh Graduate and GET Track

  • Assist senior engineers with precision teardown, inspection, repair, and assembly of final drives and transmissions.
  • Maintain shift output logs, track in-process inspections, and update setup verification records under supervision.
  • Follow safety guidelines and gain exposure to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 systems.
  • Participate in technical training for shop-floor operations and Operational Control Procedures.
  • Learn special tooling and technical practices that improve shop-floor efficiency.
  • Coordinate documentation and material statuses with Planning, Materials, and Design teams as directed.
  • Participate in safety walkthroughs and report workplace hazards for risk assessment.
  • Follow site health, safety, and environmental protocols.

Experienced Engineer Track

  • Plan shift load charts and allocate daily work to workmen based on operational priorities.
  • Optimize shift resources to meet production outputs while maintaining quality and quantity metrics.
  • Maintain and audit IQMS documentation and ensure adherence to Operational Control Procedures.
  • Train fresh graduates, GETs, and shop-floor workmen and assess training effectiveness.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement special tooling and technical improvements.
  • Coordinate with Design, Materials, and Planning departments to support shop-floor operations.
  • Lead workplace risk assessments, file hazard reports, and initiate mitigation plans.
  • Own IQMS execution on the floor to support the safety of all personnel.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering, or a B.Sc. degree with strong technical or mechanical aptitude.
  • Candidates must have no active academic backlogs or arrears.
  • Freshers are welcome for Graduate Engineer Trainee and entry-level B.Sc. positions.
  • Mechanical overhauling, assembly, or repair-shop experience is advantageous for experienced candidates.
  • Familiarity with transmissions and final drives is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership potential, excellent documentation habits, and commitment to safety and ISO compliance are expected.

Terms and Conditions
